If art imitates life, then life is starting to seem an awful lot like death. This occurs to me when I think about Bruno, the latest film disgorged by English comedian Sacha Baron Cohen.
Cohen, known for doing mock interviews as the characters Ali G and Borat Sagdiyev, has always specialized in outrageous, often politically incorrect humor. In Bruno, however, critics tell us that he has created not just the outrageous but an outrage, a movie so vulgar that some wonder how it managed its R-rating.

I saw the trailer/teaser on T.V. and usually when they show a trailer/teaser its the best parts of the movie to draw you in. And if that was the best parts of the movie........then wow, it musta not been very funny at all.

Dan,
I also saw the trailer and I had the exact sentiments. The trailer told me that this movie was absolute rubbish; intended to be enjoyed by the smallest of minds (and other appendages, if one happens to be male).
A better investment of one's entertainment dollar is Ben Stein's "Expelled".

Like every artist ahead of his time, S.B. Cohen is the subject of ridicule. But, Bruno is possibly the most comical movie ever made. Don't allow your prejudice to make you miss a second of it.
