Everyone has seen the video of Kanye West running up onto the stage and snatching the microphone away from 19-year-old country music star Taylor Swift at Sunday's MTV video music awards. West wasn't happy with the choice of Swift as winner and went into a rant about how Beyoncé should have won. Now, just for the record, I've heard neither Swift nor Beyoncé sing and thus can't render any definitive judgments on this subject. What I do know, however, is that I wouldn't consider it positive if an over-rated oaf like West was lobbying for me.
Hey, Kanye, here's a dose of reality: you peddle cultural garbage that should be found guilty of cochlear rape. In any sane society, no one would pay two cents for your juvenile din. Your opinion on music carries about as much weight as Bill Clinton's opinion on chastity.
Anyway, you also might have heard about President Hussein's reaction to the story. For all his many faults, he certainly is a better judge of West than West is of talent. He called West a "jack***" off the record, which, of course, will only help Mr. Hussein, as it makes him seem more real. Heck, who knows? The more cynical may even theorize that he uttered the "off the record" comment purposely. It would be a Machiavellian thing to do.
But now word has it that West is "pretty hurt" by Mr. Hussein's descriptive. Well, he certainly can afford a therapist.
Obviously, West is a classless lowlife (as opposed to a classy lowlife, I guess), but here's something no one has mentioned. I ask you: what would be the reaction if a 32-year-old white guy had stormed onto a stage and grabbed a microphone away from a black teenage girl? What would West's reaction be? Should we now be calling West a bigot?
But in this case, there has been no race to play the race card. Just a thought.

"what would be the reaction if a 32-year-old white guy had stormed onto a stage and grabbed a microphone away from a black teenage girl? What would West's reaction be? Should we now be calling West a bigot? "
That's the general opinion found on all comment sections about this incident. The reson that the media doesn't respond to the racial make-up of this is self evident.

If memory serves me correctly, the illiterate moron Kanye West was the one that declared on record, after Hurricane Katrina, that, "George Bush hates black people".
What gives this stooge with a 50-word vocabulary the audacity to make such a claim and to presume what a President of the United States might think?
The majority of good and honorable Americans whose skin happens to be dark and whose ancestry happens to be from the continent of Africa need to vocally and vehemently denounce mental midgets like this.

I heard West is a gay fish.

Yup, I and my friends thought the same thing, we figured it was all a set up by Kanye West in order to make someone’s career grow or prevent from going down…that’s Hollywood for you!!! Nothing is ever real expect maybe for some “real life” shows/reality shows, but even those, I’m sure, are edited to a certain extent.

Dear Isa,
Can you think of anything as oxymoronic (or just plain moronic) than the concept of "reality" television?
May God have mercy on us.
