It’s good to hear from you again! I thought you may have abandoned SelwynDuke.com for that other site that asks for “a gift” for you from its readers. I missed your thoughtful Christian sarcasms.

I read your post and I don’t want you to think that I don’t appreciate you and your clever perceptions on Barack Obama. I know that you are not a racist. And that you don’t hate President Obama because he is of mixed race; or a mulletto…if you prefer; or more likely you adhere to the “one drop” rule and regard Obama as black.

But, being out there in the land of God, Guns, Guts and separatist Green Beret land-developers who shoot themselves, you’ve go to be careful on that issue. I know that you hate Obama for genuine and deeply felt reasons. Or perhaps deeply reasoned beliefs, if you will.

No, Walt…you hate Obama because you are afraid that Obama is going to take a dime out of your pocket and give it to somebody who works for you.

Well… this may be true. But, to help you get over it and your cognitive dissonance with regard to the President, let me offer you a new perspective.

Walt, don’t think of Obama as Robin Hood or compare him Santa Claus. Think of Barack simply as a Daddy who would provide an advantage to his son through the lucrative family construction business. Maybe, if you personalize it in that way, you can get past all the negative energy you hold toward Obama’s point of view by simply getting your nose out of the Bible and looking at your face in the mirror.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- "The government ran up the largest monthly deficit in history in February, keeping the flood of red ink on track to top last year's record for the full year.

The Treasury Department said Wednesday that the February deficit totaled $220.9 billion, 14 percent higher than the previous record set in February of last year.

The deficit through the first five months of this budget year totals $651.6 billion, 10.5 percent higher than a year ago.

The Obama administration is projecting that the deficit for the 2010 budget year will hit an all-time high of $1.56 trillion, surpassing last year's $1.4 trillion total. The administration is forecasting that the deficit will remain above $1 trillion in 2011, giving the country thrree [sic] straight years of $1 trillion-plus deficits."

Anyone here benefit from the 'stimulus' dollars? I'd like to see one positive note from this AP article.

So much for the false premise that those with their nose stuck in the Bible are missing the truth about our President. My suggestion to you, Larry, is that you begin to research facts and leave the uneducated opinions out of the conversation.

I am interested in reading of your plan to stretch that thin dime and pay for this huge deficit our current government has dumped on us and our children.

The unemployment rate among the young blacks is near 80%. Perhaps you are right: this IS change, but it sure ain't hope.

Very appropriate audio. However, as I see it, we are being ruled by an oligarchy of banksters and big corporate monopolies that run government through special interest bribes.

As long as these gangsters rule the roost all the excellent fixes you propose will never see the light of day. After all, see how your elected who all took an oath to obey and protect the constitution have ignored it for about a century.
