In this time of Tea Parties and tanking Democrat poll numbers, people are, depending on their point of view, hailing or howling about an apparent conservative groundswell. More traditional folks anxiously anticipate a GOP landslide in November, while many liberals warn of the perils of our current rightward shift.
What are they concerned about? I’m not sure. I wasn’t aware that the federal Department of Education had been eliminated, the income tax repealed and IRS abolished, Roe v. Wade overturned, hate-crime laws rescinded, and the NEA and public broadcasting defunded. I also haven’t heard about a huge influx of traditionalists into academia, the media, and Hollywood and a robust upswing in church attendance among the young. Perhaps I’m out of the loop.
Read the rest here.
Once again I find myself in agreement with Selwyn Duke and his profound observations.
I believe that it will take several election cycles to purge the filth from our Halls of power and the judiciary. I further believe that the counter-revolution will be led by women. Fearless women such as Reps. Michelle Bachmann, Marcia Blackburn and Sue Myrick.
The problem is not with the politicians. As Lord Acton proclaimed long ago, “power tends to corrupt, and absolutely power corrupts absolutely.” The problem is within We the People. America suffers from “affluenza”. We are the wealthiest and most prosperous nation on earth and yet how do we dispense of our prosperity? On ballgames, gambling, fantasy leagues. Oprah, Hollywood and the entertainment leviathan. How many restaurants are within of 10-mile radius of where you presently stand? Does anyone eat at home anymore?
This “affluenza” has distracted us while a small cadre of Marxists-Leninists and their fellow travelers have infiltrated our institutions, our churches and temples, our halls of power and our seats of justice. It has also led us headlong into Christophobia. Christ Jesus is the antidote for all that ails us as a society and as individuals. I take exception to the statement by Selwyn that “the truth shall set you free”. The Biblical verse actually says that the truth will MAKE you free. It is not an instant liberation, but rather a process requiring continual action and discipline. The Word of God declares that Christ Jesus is “the way, the truth and the life” and that “no cometh to the Father but by (Christ Jesus)".
I attend the Tea Party protest rallies and I am impressed by the movement and sheer number of concerned American individuals that are showing up and speaking out. I am encouraged by talk-radio and the blogosphere. I am inspired by great intellectuals such as Selwyn Duke who are putting their message out. For my part, I intend to proclaim the works of our Almighty God and the salvation that is to be found through His Son, our Living Lord and Savior.
God bless America, land that I love.

Phil France,so you want America to get rid of all our restaurants,Oprah Winfrey, movie, entertainment of all kinds, and turn America into the Christian equivalent of Afghanistan, where no one was even allowed to listen to music of any kind until the Taliban was thrown out?
Doesn't sound like much fun to me. I wouldn't want to live in an America like this.
The last thing America needs is a bunch of narrow-minded,intolerant,sanctimonious,prudish,puritanical and self-righteous killjoys like you who want to turn America into some Chrsitian theocracy. That is not what the founding fathers had in mind by any means.
And remember, censorship dopes not make people more virtuous. It never has and never will. Why don't you learn to lighen up,Phil? And please keep your religion
to yourself.

No Phlilip, keep sharing your religion with us. I know that I don't do that enough myself.
Robert, I like going out to eat and movies, and so on, but I also know that there are alot more important things in life. And who was talking about censorship?

Amen, Brother. The opinion manipulators have been hard at work. Their propaganda machine has been second to none...and they have sucked in the easily led minds and hearts of the masses. They have resorted to every known method to push their agenda forward. Image manipulation, emotional use of the child technique, even to "casting" of crowds for their response and "plantings". It is like mining for rubies or gems in a bucket of mud filled with pre-salted surprises for discovery by kids. They have "tinkered" with the common spirit that binds us all...and have bent it to their way of thinking. Fascination at "rock star worship", something for nothing, the mother lode of nanny government. Then, one day we wake up and look around us....it is the giant soup bowl that we all are "mandated" to eat from...and it is called "socialism", a willing slavery that robs us from the freedom of individual effort. You are "bad" if you make a lot of money...and what is more, since you are "bad" we plan to take it from you without your consent and give it to those who don't give a damn and don't want to work. They call it "leveling the playing field". It is the conflict of these two philosophies or ideologies that is causing the mounting anger. The fight for individual effort and the free enterprise capitalist system is highly at stake and, with the help of Almighty God, we will began the reversal of socialism and communism in the coming weeks and months ahead.

A true Right movement, that was in the 90's - was turned to subterfuge by the neoconservatives' and popularly squelched with the left's media activism.

My most heartfelt thanks go out to Dale and Jbailey for your support.
Additionally, I remind Robert Berger that I reach out my hand to you to correct you and to instruct you in the concepts of ordered liberty, individuation and mutuality as well as a thorough knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.
Robert, you appear on these pages as a very troubled man. I have helped many others and I would like to help you.
