Thomas Abella

Mr Duke,
I disagree with just about everything Bill DeBlasio and/or Andrew Cuomo say and/or do. However, I cannot disagree with their decisions surrounding the forecasted snowstorm. One cannot say previous missed forecasts mean this one would be also since they are independent events. We do know now that when we are told they are using the "European model" we will be a little more doubtful of the prognostication. It is very easy to complain when things like this happened (I spent 2 hours in the supermarket buying provisions that were basically not needed) but quite a few lives may possibly have been saved and a lot of inconvenience would have been avoided if the weather people were correct. Peace of mind is of great value. If only the Mayor of NYC and Governor of NYS could use their intellects in logical rather than political directions on other matters, we would all be better off, even hose of us living in NJ.
