Slavery and Non-Consensual Sex OK, Says Muslim Georgetown Professor

That slavery and non-consensual sex can be okay is not a sentiment you expect to hear from someone employed in politically correct academia — but it obviously is acceptable when a politically correct kind of person says it. This appears the case with Georgetown Islamic Studies professor Jonathan Brown, who stated in a recent talk that it’s “not immoral for one human to own another human.”

A 39-year-old convert to Islam, Brown reportedly expressed the above beliefs in a Feb. 7 lecture at the International Institute of Islamic Thought in Herndon, Virginia. Titled “Islam and the Problem of Slavery,” the professor apparently believes there’s only a problem with slavery when it’s not governed by Islam.

Your Place — My Rules: Parents Suing Catholic School So Daughter Can Play Boys’ Sports

Your school — my rule? This appears the message of two parents who are suing a New Jersey Catholic school for upholding Catholic standards.

The case involves 13-year-old Sydney Phillips, a seventh-grader at St. Theresa School in Kenilworth. After the girls’ basketball team was disbanded last October for lack of interest, Sydney requested to play on the boys’ seventh-grade team. St. Theresa said no, and, in keeping with the new “American” spirit, a lawsuit was filed by Sydney’s father, Scott Phillips.

Denouncing DeVos: Democrats are Again Blocking Schoolhouse Doors

Democrat Alabama governor George Wallace blocked “schoolhouse” doors in 1963 to protest the entry of two black students. Now Democrats are again blocking schoolhouse doors, this time in a different location and driven by a different prejudice.  

When Education Secretary Betsy DeVos visited Jefferson Middle School Academy in southwest Washington, D.C., Friday morning, she found herself obstructed by leftist protesters. Ironically, one of the protesters, perhaps not having compared notes with the door-blocking phalanx, held a sign reading, “Welcome to Our Public School — It’s Open to Everyone!”

Trump Says Churches Could be Involved in Politics — He’s Right

Should churches and other nonprofits be allowed to participate in political campaigns and endorse or attack candidates? President Trump thinks so and recently vowed to “totally destroy” the law banning such activity.

If this appears a violation of America’s founding principles, consider that for most of our history there was no such prohibition. It began with the 1954 “Johnson Amendment” (JA), which wasn’t even born of principle. Rather, then-senator Lyndon Johnson pushed the legislation to prevent a wealthy opponent from using a nonprofit against him in a senatorial election.

I don't usually feature other pundits' articles, but the following by Ann Coulter really is a must-read. It may make you chuckle and cry at the same time.

If only we were able to deport citizens, we could use Trump's new policy of excluding those who are "hostile" toward our country to get rid of Judge James Robart.

Judge Robart's veto of Trump's travel ban notwithstanding, there is not the slightest question but that the president, in his sole discretion, can choose to admit or exclude any foreigners he likes, based on "the interests of the United States.”

The Clinton administration used the executive branch's broad power over immigration to send a 6-year-old boy back to a communist dictatorship. The courts were completely powerless to stop him.

Ex-Muslim Has a Startling Message for America

Here is an incredible video I came across yesterday. While most of the back story of the African man featured isn't provided, he's identified as a former Muslim who is now Christian. The right side of his face is badly disfigured from what appears to have been an acid attack, a method of assault common in the Islamic world. Presumably, that was his "punishment" for leaving Islam.

He has a message for America and is passionate and moving. After you watch the video, ponder this question: Can you think of any reason why the Fakestream Media wouldn't want Americans coast to coast to hear this man's words?

Trump Could Simply Ignore Court’s Order Halting Travel Ban

Does our current status quo make our Constitution a suicide pact? Thomas Jefferson certainly said as much, warning that accepting judicial supremacy would make our founding document just that, a felo de se, as he put it in Latin.

Acceptance of judicial supremacy, by the way, is precisely why President Trump’s temporary ban on immigration from seven Muslim-majority nations is on hold. Imagine that, Alexander Hamilton wrote in The Federalist, No. 78 that the judiciary is the “least dangerous” branch of government because it “has no influence over either the sword or the purse,” yet it’s trumping the man with the sword, the president. But does it have to be this way?

No, Trump could simply ignore the court ruling suspending his ban.

Outrageous!? Unconstitutional!? Actually, it’s wholly constitutional.
