Leftists Refuse to Debate Covid Vax (or Anything Else), but Have They Already LOST?

About two decades ago, ex-Vice President Al Gore famously proclaimed that on climate change, the “debate is over” (“in the scientific community,” he added). It wasn’t that many years later that former head of the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit Phil Jones confessed, in the Climategate scandal’s wake, that the debate among scientists is not over. But something else isn’t only not over, but is now all over the place: a Gore-esque, pseudo-elite tendency to claim an issue is beyond debate — and then take your ball and, well, flee to MSNBC.

This is witnessed perhaps most prominently with the dispute over Covid “vaccines.” On Sunday, for example, Stanford University School of Medicine Professor Dr. Thomas Lew stated in a USA Today headline, “Joe Rogan, RFK Jr. don’t get it: Vaccine science isn’t up for debate.” Lew was responding to an offer Rogan, the famous podcaster, made in which he offered to donate $100,000 to vaccine proponent Dr. Peter Hotez’ favorite charity if the virologist would debate vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. on his show.

Michigan LGBT-enabling Hate Crime Bill Would Criminalize Speech Based on FEELINGS

Many American statists have long desired European-like “hate speech” law, which can be used to stifle anti-establishment dissent. A bill that recently passed the Michigan House of Representatives could deliver just that, too, as it would punish threatening actions — and determine what’s “threatening” based on the “victim’s” feelings, according to The Epoch Times. In an age in which are heard complaints about “microaggressions” and that even “silence is violence,” you can only imagine how such a law could be (ab)used.

Quarantined News: 4 Kids Rescued From “Trans” Party; Drugs, Sex Toys, and a Dead Body Found

You might think it would be a major story when six men, some in drag, are busted having a “party” in which are found drugs, sex toys, and a dead body — and four children being hidden in a back room. But it’s much as with the 1999 murder of 13-year-old Jesse Dirkhising by two homosexuals “who confessed to using the boy as a sex toy while torturing him to death,” as WND put it, a crime occurring just a year after the “high profile” killing of homosexual Matthew Shepard. While Shepard got a federal “hate crime” act named after him, the Dirkhising story got buried even before the poor lad was. The reason for the double standard is simple, too:

Give these incidents enough press and people just might, for example, get the crazy idea that mentally disturbed people (e.g., men insisting they’re women) shouldn’t have custody of children.

You Won’t BELIEVE the Sports Team Name Cancel Cultists Now Demand Be Changed

Cancel cultists have made many inane name-change and language-innovation demands in pursuit of an agenda appearing to be a hybrid between the Khmer Rouge’s “Year Zero” and a Saturday Night Live skit. The Redskins and Indians football team names, Aunt Jemima, and Uncle Ben have been sent to the cornfield, as have Cream of Wheat’s black chef and Land O’Lakes’ Indian woman. We’ve also been told that “black hole,” “angel food cake,” “master bedroom,” and “picnic” are offensive terms and that a woman — excuse me, it’s “womxn” now — is actually a “birthing person.” Now the word police are at it again, this time with a complaint that really takes the angel food cake, at least as far as gripes about sports team names go. To wit:

An activist group has kvetched about a baseball team called the Macon Bacon.

I had to double-check this story to ensure it wasn’t satire, and, sure enough, it’s another product of our truth-is-stranger-than-fiction time. But there’s good news, too....

Starbucks Pays Big for Anti-white Discrimination. But Has Big Business Learned Its Lesson?

Anti-white value-signaling can be expensive. Starbucks, famous for overpriced coffee and overwrought woke attitudes, just discovered this after the company was ordered to pay $25.6 million in damages to a white employee it fired because of her race.

The woman, ex-regional manager Shannon Phillips, was scapegoated after a high-profile 2018 incident in which two black men were arrested for loitering at a Philadelphia Starbucks and refusing to leave when asked. But while commentator Christopher Tremoglie writes that the company now “learns that anti-white discrimination doesn’t pay,” will Starbucks really change its ways? Will corporate America in general?

Increasing World Economic Equality Means Decreasing Life Quality — for Westerners

Increasing worldwide sports competition over the last 60 years has made it harder for Westerners to dominate the rankings in athletics. Likewise, points out a former World Bank research economist, increased competition in wealth creation — which he frames as diminishing inequality — means it will become harder for Westerners to dominate the wealth rankings as their relative purchasing power decreases.

Moreover, says City University of New York professor Branko Milanović, he sees this as “a rather good outcome.”

Teacher Suspended for Targeting White Males; Accused Them of Domination

A San Francisco English teacher who says she discusses “sensitive topics” in class admitted that she singled out white male students, accusing them of “dominating the conversation” and asking them if they “felt like a minority.” And while the “educator” was ultimately suspended after her district received complaints, she now, apparently, is back in the classroom.
