Climatecrats Aim to Save the Planet — by Bulldozing Rainforest

There’s a somewhat old saying: “If you want to preserve forest,” it goes, “don’t build a road through it. And if you do, make sure it’s a bad one.” But, hey, preserving trees is so yesterday; climate is the cool kids’ kick now. So it is, too, that in preparation for the upcoming COP(Conference of the Parties)30 climate summit in Belém, Brazil, the greentopian climatecrats are bulldozing a swath of the Amazon rainforest to build a new four-lane highway. They have their reasons, though. I mean, we wouldn’t want the swells inconvenienced by traffic while they’re trying to save the world.

This said, the Amazonian destruction is just the latest example of today’s greentopians’ apparent vendetta against trees.

First there were the Biden family pardons; then there were the pardons of the J6 political prisoners. Joining the latter now, though, may be another case where the unjustly convicted would be absolved from guilt. It’s high time, too, as this condemned party has spent almost a generation in the pokey of public opinion and pseudo-science. His name?

Carbon dioxide — CO₂ for short.

The gas’ savior may be President Donald Trump, who has decided that CO₂’s case deserves another look. At issue is a 2009 “endangerment finding,” in which the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), under Barack Obama, unilaterally decided the gas was a “pollutant.” (Never mind that it’s necessary for life’s existence.) But now Trump has ordered that this finding be revisited.

Let’s Say Man IS Changing the Climate. So What?

“The temperature is rising!” “The temperature is dropping.” The temperature is staying the same.”

We argue the “facts” of climate change (even as parts of New Jersey were just buried under 11 inches of global warming). One side wants the facts to show that man is disrupting the climate, while the other wants them to show that he’s not. But an almost never posed question should be asked:

Let’s say, for argument’s sake, that our industry is causing global warming. So what?

No, I’m not a guy who “just wants to see the world burn” (and that would be literally). Rather, if anthropogenic climate change were occurring, why should we assume it wouldn’t be beneficial?

In 2013, astrobiologist Jack O’Malley-James predicted that visible life on Earth would end due to too little atmospheric CO₂. No, that’s not a typo. The gas’ levels will ultimately decline over time (the dinosaur age saw levels five to 10 times today’s), O’Malley-James explained. Eventually, they’ll drop so low that plants won’t be able to photosynthesize, which, of course, will collapse the food chain. And, sorry, but you won’t be the “last man standing” — unless you happen to be a microbe.

“Green Energy Transition” Is a Costly “Myth,” Says Expert, and “Isn’t Happening”

“The definition of insanity,” the apocryphal saying goes, “is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.” This could come to mind now that yet another warning has been issued about “green” energy.

A transition to it simply “isn’t happening,” says researcher Bjørn Lomborg, of the Copenhagen Consensus Center. The problem?

Such a transition is, first, prohibitively expensive. In fact, Lomborg has estimated, lowering Earth’s temperature just 1/3 of one degree Fahrenheit by 2100 would cost $100 trillion. This makes the endeavor unfeasible.

Second, and counterintuitively, creating “renewable” energy doesn’t replace coal, oil, and gas. It mainly just adds to energy consumption.

Despite this, the world is proceeding with bull-in-a-china-shop energy ambitions, spending $2 trillion annually trying to “transition.” The bottom line, says Lomborg, is that we need a “major policy overhaul.”

Bill Nye Backs Kamala, Touts Her “Climate” Policy and “The Science™”

When hearing “Follow the science,” many once-bitten-twice-shy skeptics have learned, you should perhaps follow the money. Or maybe the power.

Or both.

This perhaps could come to mind with news that TV “scientist” Bill Nye is following Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris. In fact, says Nye, you should vote for her because “science isn’t partisan. It’s patriotic.”
