Immigration Tyranny and Violence: What’s Really Happening in Northern Ireland?

Here’s a thought exercise: Imagine a substantial number of Europeans are being moved into some indigenous South Americans’ territory. Now imagine a percentage of them are “illegals” and, what’s more, that they’re given government-funded housing locals often can’t afford. Imagine, too, that this drives up rent further, making the housing even more inaccessible to the indigenous. Also imagine that “hate speech” laws ensure that if the locals complain about the injustice, they can be arrested. And then there’s the straw that breaks the camel’s back:

A few of these illegals sexually assault an indigenous girl.

Would it be surprising if this sparked a spasm of violence? (Note: This is not synonymous with asking, “Would such violence be moral?”)

If you say the above four “imagines” strain the imagination, perhaps they should. But you actually don’t have to imagine.

We’ve been told by our “betters,” in a variety of ways, that the (actually long-extinct) thing called the Western “patriarchy” imperils women. Why, the miniseries Adolescence instructs that what you really must fear, Karen, are cute little 13-year-old English boys. But new data out of Germany, relating to a recent-years crime spike, tell a different tale.

In fact, a reports finds, it’s not just that the crime increase isn’t the fault of native German men. Nor is it just that the country’s recent male imports are inordinately violent (though they are).

It’s that even foreign-born Muslim women (and some other female groups) are more violent than indigenous German men.

Monumental DEI: Statues of Generic Black Women Being Erected — Replacing the West’s Greats

Does it matter when a society’s long-present statues are torn down and replaced with very different ones? Well, consider an analogy. Imagine that upon coming home each day, you noticed that more and more pictures of your family members, which had adorned your walls, mantels, and desktops, were disappearing and were being replaced with those of people you don’t even recognize.

Would it matter?

Well, this is essentially what has been happening with our national family. For many years now, statues have been continually torn down/removed, replaced with people of little accomplishment and/or poor character. One of late cocaine-using Washington, D.C., Mayor Marion Barry, erected in his city in 2018, is an example. Even further down the rabbit hole of risibility, statues and other monuments honoring criminal George Floyd appeared in 2020-2021.

This brings us to a new monument in Times Square of a black woman of, uh, let’s say, generous proportions. Oh, unlike Floyd, we can’t say she’s a criminal; she’s got that going for her. But that’s for an odd reason:

She’s not anybody.

Death of the West: Britain Is Now Attacking Its Most Legendary Writer

“Lord, what fools these mortals be!” This remark, made by the mischievous sprite Puck in William Shakespeare’s play A Midsummer Night’s Dream, was directed at the absurdity of man’s love affairs. And while such folly is timeless, the comment is also relevant to a rather odd love affair perhaps unique to our time.

That is, the West’s affair with an ideology dictating its own culture’s destruction.

Perhaps the latest example of this toxic relationship comes from, ironically, the land that once perhaps did more than any other to spread Western culture: the United Kingdom. And its current effort at grinding itself down is an attack on its greatest writer, Shakespeare himself.

That’s right, it’s not enough that Britain now reportedly has a lower GDP than our poorest state, Mississippi. The country also apparently wants its cultural fortunes to mirror its economic ones.

“My first wife was ’tarded,” said the low-IQ “Doctor Lexus” while reassuring his patient in the 2006 film Idiocracy. “She’s a pilot now.” A bit later in the movie, a plane is seen crashing in the distance while everyone goes about his business cavalierly, completely inured to such gross incompetence. Now, some may say it’s a bit frivolous opening an article on a serious topic with a popular-culture reference. It’s not, however, any more frivolous than a girl-power commercial produced by the airline involved in last Monday’s Toronto crash. What’s more, the commercial perhaps offers insight into why the mishap occurred. It’s also a commentary on our decaying meritocracy — and brings us closer to “idiocracy.”

The Beast Lives On: DEI Is ALREADY Being Rebranded

Just two weeks ago I warned, to echo Mark Twain, that rumors of DEI’s death are greatly exaggerated. While “the label ‘DEI’ is new, the product it identifies is more than half a century old,” I stated. … And make no mistake, its predicates are still embedded in our culture.”

For this reason, DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) will “live on under a different guise,” I later added. For “it’s as much a symptom as a cause.” This brings us to a headline the New York Post ran just this weekend.

“No ‘death’ for diversity,” it reads: “How DEI is being rebranded — not disbanded.”

Well, that didn’t take long.

In fact, perhaps the social-engineering leviathan deserves credit. It turns out that by the time I’d written my piece, January 21, DEI had already been busy shape-shifting.

Candidates “whose worst subject in high school was science [and who played a lot of sports] and candidates who are unemployed receive the most points possible on the test” (for the position), wrote The Blaze in 2018. “In contrast, licensed pilots and those with extensive air traffic control knowledge aren’t highly scored.” How could this be?

It was the result of “diversity” efforts — what’s now called DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) — instituted under Barack Obama and continued by Joe Biden. It gets worse, though, too.

These Obama-era DEI efforts also created a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) push to hire people who are deaf, blind, and/or have “severe intellectual” and “psychiatric disabilities.”

Trump May Kill “DEI” in Name, but It Will Live on Unless….

President Trump has made clear that he aims to trump Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) schemes. Democrats aim to trump him and keep them alive. And while the president will very likely win the current battle, in the federal political realm, what of the war? Is this just a matter of killing programs?

Starmer: Rape-gang-inquiry Goal “Far Right” Concern. Is Child Sex Abuse a Leftist “Lifestyle Choice” Now?

Philosopher C.S. Lewis once noted that it’s what slips from our mouths when we’re not thinking that reveals our hearts. This could come to mind with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s claim that those demanding an inquiry into child-abusing rape gangs are jumping “on a bandwagon of the far Right.”

Delivered at a Monday press conference, Starmer’s comments were in response to a firestorm of criticism ignited by entrepreneur Elon Musk. Musk had resurrected the rape-gang story via his X social-media platform mere days ago, as I reported this weekend.

The prime minister’s efforts at flipping the script appear to have backfired, however. That is, many critics say that implicit in his remarks is that child sex abuse is just a right-wing concern. History may inform that he’s not all wrong about that, either (more on this later). Also notable here is that this controversy is shaping up to be a classic Establishment/anti-Establishment conflict.
