What’s the very definition of chutzpah? Try the following on for size.

Narco state Mexico is suing American firearms manufacturers for $10 billion — over it’s own cartel violence.

That’s right, the land long known for banditos, where the police and criminals may be one and the same (a man I knew of traveled to Mexico and was mugged by the cops), has a government that’s trying to put our gun manufacturers out of business instead of its own violent drug kingpins.

In an effort to convince voters she’s not anti-Second Amendment, Kamala Harris often emphatically claims that she herself is a gun owner. She even said, while cackling during her Oprah Winfrey interview, that anyone breaking into her home is “getting shot.” (Does this standard apply to breaking into countries, too?) But her Dirty Harry routine isn’t working with everyone. Just consider an MSN commenter whose post I recently featured as a “Comment of the Day.”

“She’s a gun owner,” the man wrote. “So were Stalin, Hitler and Saddam. Not surprisingly, gun laws did not apply to them, they made sure of it.”

Now evidence has emerged, too, that Harris is also of the mindset, “Guns for me, not for thee.”

That is, nearly two decades ago, the now-Democratic presidential nominee sponsored a measure to seize San Franciscans’ handguns.

Report: FBI and Hollywood Mislead Public on “Good Guy With a Gun” Stats

“Leave it to a good guy with a gun to really screw things up,” said a comely female cop on an episode of ABC’s The Rookie. This utterance was no accident. Nor was it simply inspired by Hollywood’s well-known left-wing bent. Rather, gun-control groups readily admit they work with screenwriters and producers to shape dialogue. One entity even brags about “its ‘partnership with Hollywood’ and how they’re ‘consulted on scripts,’” relates journalist John Stossel.

In reality, “good guys with a gun” will often thwart would-be mass murderers. We usually don’t hear about this from national media, though. The FBI sometimes doesn’t record such cases, either; they’re “missed” by the bureau. Why? Criminal-justice researcher John Lott, Jr. asked people at the FBI about this and got some interesting responses. “Well, I’m a Democrat,” was one of them.

Bump-stock Bunkum: Chicken Little Media’s “Sky Is Falling” Narrative

“Clarence Thomas has a bump-stock death wish for Americans,” reads a Raw Story title.

“Clarence Thomas’ signature will be on death certificates,” goes an overwrought quotation from an MSNBC Reidout segment.

“The Supreme Court’s Bump Stock Decision Will Prove Fatal,” The New York Times chimes in.

This seems like an awfully frenzied response over a device that’s hardly ever used in crime. In fact, given that illegal aliens pose a greater threat to Americans than people with bump stocks do, you might think the bump-stock batty should be laser focused on the “death wish” that is our open border.
