In the wake of trumped up “racial incidents” such as Ferguson and Baltimore (Freddie Gray case), left-wing activists were front and center demanding that police be equipped with audio and video equipment. “Then we’ll see who the true criminals are,” was the idea. Well, more and more cops now have such equipment, and the truth is coming out:
Most accusations of racial abuse made against police are bunk.
This song is almost 60 years old, and it has only recently been discovered what the bah-dah, bah-dah, bah-dah referenced are.
Liberals!
Listen to the song and weight in on whether this rings true. I believe it. Liberals are everywhere, it seems, and whenever they render opinion, it always sounds the same: bah-dah, bah-dah, bah-dah!
In a way, commercials can tell you more about how we've changed than history books. The other day I came across the following 1960s TV commercial on YouTube; it's for a toy set called the "Gung Ho Commando Outfit" by Marx. And it's a perfect snapshot of the America that, sadly, no longer exists.
The government of Cedar Falls, Iowa, has actually passed an ordinance that requires owners of commercial property — this includes not just businesses but also apartments and some rental houses — to provide the government with keys to their properties. I kid you not. Notice how, in the city council meeting captured in this video, the statist legislators behave as if the citizens should have to prove why this anomalous, perhaps unprecedented law should be shelved. They conduct themselves with an air of moral superiority, as if they're doing the citizenry a favor and the latter's complaints are an imposition. In reality, these statists should be on the hot seat trying to justify insane legislation that never should have been contemplated in the first place.
I'll tell you, it sometimes seems as if talking is a waste of time. The good townsfolk should just have brought their pitchforks and registered their four-pointed votes.
Is this footage of the best statesman in Europe? This is a video of Austrian parliamentarian Ewald Stadler violating every tenet of political correctness and giving the Turkish ambassador to his nation a dressing down the Turk will never forget. It's chicken soup for the soul for anyone who is sick and tired of how Western nations subordinate the interests of their native citizens to those of unassimilable foreigners.
I don't know much about Stadler's general ideology, but on this issue our politicians could certainly take a leaf out of his book. Geert Wilders, you have some competition.
